Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Show Low, Arizona.Job Description & Requirements

Some like to work all weekends and others don't like to work them at all. As long as it's covered, it really doesn't matter to me. Floating Requirement: - May float to ED or MS if experiencedRequired certifications: - ACLS, BLS, NRP, Intermediate or advanced Fetal Monitoring Required# of beds - - 7 L&D beds- 2 Triage beds- 10 Postpartum beds- 1-3 births per day- 830 births per yearRatios typically 1:2Exp or Must have skills - 2 years of experience required- Respiratory Therapist in unit 24/7- Support staff on unit: Patient Care Technician, Health Unit Secretary- Nurse manager occasionally see patients (when needed)- Need experience with: - 3+ years of experience required- C-section experience required- Support staff on unit: OB scrub tech, HUC- Call: one shift per 4 week schedule- OB/Neonatologist not in house- 24/7 pharmacy in house- Must be proficient in fetal monitoring and the actions taken for fetal distress. - Must be able to care for patients with pre-eclampsia- Clinical background in high risk patients. Since there is NOT an in-house OB, so the nurses need to be very proficient with their assessment skills and be able to handle OB emergencies until the provider arrives. - May float to other units of hospital (usually MedSurg) if needed- Must be able to function in L&D and couplet care (they don't always utilize their LDRPs as couplet care beds, but can do so if census is low).Additional helpful info:1.
